1. SPATA Membership Subscription Declaration Letter
Letters will shortly be posted to our members requesting current turnover figures, to enable us to calculate your
membership payments for 2010/11. Please can you ensure that this important information is returned to the office
by 26th February 2010. Thank you.
2. Membership Applications ? Pending
At present we currently have one SPATA membership application pending from E J Bowman (Birmingham) Limited,
a Trade Supplier. This company has been trading for 91 years, 40 of which has been in the swimming
pool industry.
3. Marketing Tool Kit Ideas
We are planning on introducing a tool kit (please see attached) to provide marketing tips and ideas to our members.
Please advise us if you would like to see any other topics covered within this document, and if any of our members
has any expertise in any of these fields, we would be delighted to hear from you.
4. SPATA Membership Leaflet
This leaflet is currently being revamped, and should be available for distribution to any prospective new members shortly.
5. SPATA Website - Changes
Website improvements are currently being made to the SPATA site and we have been informed by our Web
Designer that these changes should be implemented during the month of February. We will advise our members when
The site becomes fully operational.
6. Date for your Diary - BSPF President?s Weekend 2010
Tony Welsby?s Presidency weekend will take place in Blackpool from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd October. More detailed
information will follow.
